The Shops at Chase: What to Know About Chase’s New Online Shopping Marketplace

Launched in June 2025, The Shops at Chase is Chase’s new online shopping hub designed exclusively for eligible Chase credit cardholders. Through this digital storefront, cardholders can shop across popular brands in travel, home goods, tech, and fashion — and pay with their Chase credit card, Ultimate Rewards® points, or a combination of both.
While it offers a streamlined redemption experience, The Shops at Chase typically doesn’t grant additional rewards beyond your card’s standard earning rate — unless there’s a promotional offer running.

Who Has Access?

The platform is available to those with select Chase Freedom, Sapphire, and Ink credit cards, including:

Ink Business Preferred® Credit Card
In addition to shopping access, some Chase cards offer exclusive annual credits to use at The Shops:
Chase Sapphire Reserve®: Get a $250 credit after spending $75,000 annually.
Sapphire Reserve for Business℠: Earn a $500 credit after $120,000 in annual spend.

The Shops vs. Shop Through Chase®
It’s easy to confuse The Shops at Chase with Shop Through Chase®, but they serve different purposes:
Feature The Shops at Chase Shop Through Chase®
Rewards Earn standard card rewards only (unless promoted) Earn up to 15x points at over 1,000 retailers
Currency Pay with card, points, or both Primarily earns extra points for online shopping
Access Exclusive to Chase’s new marketplace Available through Chase’s travel portal
If you’re chasing extra points, Shop Through Chase® typically offers better reward rates. But for redeeming your existing points for products, The Shops at Chase might offer more flexibility.

What Brands Can You Shop?

As of August 2025, the marketplace includes about 35 well-known retailers, such as:
Aesop
Coach
Dell
Dyson
Garmin
Michael Kors
Samsung
Ray-Ban

Additionally, limited-time offers are common. For example, between August 1 and September 14, 2025, Chase is offering 15% off at select merchants like Boll & Branch, Shinola, Thule, and Vitamix.

How It Works

Accessing The Shops at Chase is simple:
Log in to your Chase account or open the Chase mobile app.
Navigate to The Shops at Chase.

Browse by brand or product category.

Choose how to pay: Use your Chase card, redeem Ultimate Rewards® points, or split the transaction between the two.
Point redemptions work at a 1:1 value (e.g., 1 point = 1 cent).
Prices are displayed in both cash and point values.

Orders are shipped to the address linked to your Chase account.

Heads up: If you’re using points to pay, you won’t earn bonus rewards — even during promotions. Only purchases made directly with a Chase credit card qualify for those special offers.

Final Thoughts from CreditVana

The Shops at Chase adds more flexibility to how Chase cardholders use their points, especially for those not interested in travel redemptions. While it’s not a turbocharged points-earning portal like Shop Through Chase®, it’s a user-friendly option for using rewards on real products — from tech to luxury goods.
Just remember: unless there’s a promotional bonus, your card will earn points at its regular rate. So if your goal is maximizing rewards, compare options before checking out.
